Our Story

Born from a conviction

Thenga Labs was founded on an observation that kept proving itself true: the most important companies in the world were not always the ones with the best technology, the deepest pockets, or the largest teams. They were the ones with the best stories.

We watched brilliant founders struggle to articulate what made them different. We saw executives with decades of insight unable to translate their expertise into influence. We noticed organizations navigating critical inflection points - fundraising, market entry, leadership transitions - without the narrative infrastructure to support them.

So we built Thenga Labs: a narrative strategy agency designed for leaders who refuse to be misunderstood. We combine the rigor of strategic consulting with the craft of exceptional writing and the depth of narrative intelligence research.

The name “Thenga” comes from the Zulu word meaning “to buy” or “to invest.” We believe the most valuable investment any leader can make is in their narrative - the story that shapes how the world sees them, trusts them, and follows them.
